Step 1: Preparation is Key!- Clean Thoroughly:Make sure your item is spotlessly clean. Use soap and water or a 50/50 rubbing alcohol mix for optimal adhesion (recommended!).
- Squeegee Ready: Have your freshly cut transfer? Great! Lay it design-down and pre-squeegee with the padded side (2-4 passes, back and forth). Give extra attention to thin details!
- Start Small:Gently tear a corner of the clear carrier sheet to begin peeling.
- Watch Carefully: Ensure the entire design lifts cleanly from the white backing. Remember, patience is key!
- Re-Squeegee if Needed: If anything sticks, re-squeegee and try peeling from a different angle. Practice makes perfect!
- Small Transfers:Use both hands for precise placement on smaller transfers (4 inches and under).
- Large Designs: For larger designs (6 inches and up), start on one side and work your way across to minimize bubbles and wrinkles.
- Pro Tip: Leave a corner of the carrier sheet unpressed for easier removal later.
- Firm Pressure:Apply firm pressure with 2-4 squeegee passes across the entire design.
- Peel with Care: Watch carefully as you peel the carrier sheet, ensuring all elements are firmly adhered.
